When travelling to Denmark as a citizen of Germany, you must meet the following terms and requirements concerning visa, immigration procedures or maximum duration of stay.
Passports and other documents accepted for entry issued to nationals of Germany must be valid on arrival.
Nationals of Germany with a national ID card. This does not apply when traveling to the Faroe Isl. or Greenland.
Nationals of Germany with a Travel Permit in Lieu of Passport (Reiseausweis als Passersatz) and an expired passport or expired national ID card issued by Germany.
Nationals of Germany with an emergency or temporary passport.
