When travelling to Ecuador as a citizen of Germany, you must meet the following terms and requirements concerning visa, immigration procedures or maximum duration of stay.

Passport required

Passports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date.

Admission and Transit Restrictions

Non-machine readable passports are not accepted.

except for Nationals of Germany for a maximum stay of 90 days.


Minors up to 18 years, being nationals of Germany, traveling alone or accompanied by one parent only and not holding a passport must hold an issued authorization for travel signed by both parents or legal guardians.
