When travelling to Croatia as a citizen of Germany, you must meet the following terms and requirements concerning visa, immigration procedures or maximum duration of stay.
Passports and other documents accepted for entry issued to nationals of Germany must be valid for the period of intended stay.
Nationals of Germany with a national ID card. However, a passport is required when accompanied by minors who do not have their own travel documents.
Nationals of Germany with a Travel Permit in Lieu of Passport (Reiseausweis als Passersatz) accompanied by an expired German passport or an expired German national ID card.
VISA NOT REQUIRED
All minors who are nationals of Germany are expected to hold their own travel document.

Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay as follows: - at least EUR 70.- per day of stay; or - at least EUR 30.- per day of stay if holding a confirmed invitation or a tourist voucher.
