When travelling to Norway as a citizen of Germany, you must meet the following terms and requirements concerning visa, immigration procedures or maximum duration of stay.
Passports and other documents accepted for entry issued to nationals of Germany must be valid on arrival.
Nationals of Germany with a national ID card.
Nationals of Germany with a Travel Permit in Lieu of Passport (Reiseausweis als Passersatz).
Nationals of Germany with an emergency or temporary passport.

All minors who are nationals of Germany are expected to hold their own travel document.
As Svalbard is outside the Schengen area, passengers traveling from Oslo (OSL) to Longyearbyen (LYR) via Tromso are required to pass through passport control at Tromso.
Visitors are required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents required for their next destination.
Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.
